About Wallace & Gromit and My Websites

Wallace and Gromit are some of the world's best animated characters created by Nick Park. They have starred in four films and a mini set of programs dedicated to Wallace's mad cap inventions!

Wallace and Gromit: A Grand Day Out was Nick's first film with the cheese loving duo. It took over 5 years to make and it lasts around 20 mins! This is becuase he used a technique called stop motion animation (click link at top to find out more). In the film Wallace and Gromit build a rocket and go to the moon in search of cheese but they get a little more than they bargained for! The film was nominated for an Oscar but was beaten by Nick's other creation "Creature Comforts" (clcik other productions for more)

Wallace and Gromit: The Wrong Trousers was a big step up from A Grand Day Out. The animation was altogether more smoother and a better plot was spread throughout. This film saw the arrival of the evil penguin (or chicken???....) Feathers McGraw and as you can see by the picture he gets up to real mischief. This also won an Oscar in the mid 90's.

Wallace and Gromit: A Close Shave was top notch entertainment. Even better plot, more characters and humour trickling all the way through, this film was when Wallace fell in love with Wendolene Ramsbottom - but not so much with her sheep or her dog, Preston. A great film and another Oscar to the Aardman Animations collection, Wallace and Gromit had officially taken off worldwide and more and more memrobillia was produced.

Wallace and Gromit's Cracking Contraptions features ten of Wallace's most ingenious but not surprisingly "not working most of the time" inventions. The creativity is super and my favourites are the Soccamatic and the Snoozatron. (click Wallace's inventions for more information)

This site was created on th 22nd of September 2005. I got the idea of making a website off a friend. At first the site was really exciting to do but then I lost interest and the site has gone downhill for quite a long period. A few updates will appear every so often but no promises - check out my other site www.funzone.20m.com which is updated weekly, sometimes daily!
